- REMEMBER TO PUSH "RECORD/SEND RESULTS"! I will NOT be able to view your assignment score if you do not complete this final step!
Your assignments are always due at MIDNIGHT, the night before a major assignment (quiz or test).
2. In order to avoid any issues, work on your assignments when they become available on the conjuguemos website.
3. Verify that your assignment was sent by checking yourself: click on "your grades". If you see your assignment, you successfully sent it. If it says "you have not recorded any grades", then you did not send me your assignment.
4. Take a picture with your phone or use "printscreen" as a backup in case there is an issue with sending me your results.
5. When in doubt, ask me if I received your scores. I will be able to check before or after school and let you know if you still need to complete your assignment.
-You will not have a limit on the amount of times you try the assignment: in fact, you are encouraged to complete your assignment several times to practice the vocabulary. Submit your highest score to me- if you then earn a higher score than the previous one, submit the new score. I will take the highest score you send to me before midnight.
The following scenarios should help you understand how I will grade your "conjuguemos" assignment-
Example A: You type 45 words out of exactly 50 attempts. I will record your grade as a 45/50, or 90%
Example B: You type slowly, and on your first try you get only 10 words out of 10 attempts. Even though the website will tell you that you scored a 100% (10/10=100), I will record your attempt as 10 words out of 50 words (the required amount). 10/50=20%. You must try again to earn a higher score.
Example C: You type fast, and you went over the 50 required words. If, for example, you type 75 words correctly out of 88 tries, I will record your attempt as a 75/88=85%. If, as an other example, you type 48 words out of 52 attempts, I will record your score as a 48/52 (92%), not a 48/50 (96%).
To earn a perfect score: You must reach 50 words with no mistake (or higher, such as a 51/51, 52/52, etc...) in 5 minutes. Although it may seem impossible at first, each attempt makes you a better speller and enables you to learn how to write words in Spanish without even thinking about it. Not to mention, you are becoming a better typer!
